Chad Brand is Professor of Christian Theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Associate Dean for Biblical and Theological Studies at Boyce College, both in Louisville, KY. He previously was Assistant Professor of Christian Studies at North Greenville College in SC. He has also taught at Dallas Baptist University and at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has a BA from Colorado Christian University and MDiv. and Ph.D. (Systematic and Historical Theology) degrees from Southwestern. Chad has been pastor of three churches and interim pastor at nine churches, having also served in various staff positions over the years. With that background his great interest is to glorify God through biblical exposition and theological instruction that brings the seminary and church communities together so that each can be blessed by the other.

Married to Tina, they have three children, Tashia, Owen, and Cassandra, and six grandchildren aged two through twelve. He is author or editor of ten books, the titles of which are listed elsewhere on this site.
